Thank you for your interest in the 2025 New Milford Bulls Cheerleading Season!Below is information on the program: Ages 5 (as of July 31, 2025) through 13
1. Teams will be determined using AYC guidelines and prior team placement will be considered after registration closes on July 1, 2025.
2. Team assignments are subject to change and will be based on child's age as of July 31, 2025. ALL Required documentation must be completed and uploaded by the first day of practice.
3. Practice will start on the last Monday in July. Practices will be determined by the Head Coach and will generally run 4 days a week prior to Labor Day and 3 days a week after Labor Day. This is subject to change.
4. Cheerleaders will cheer at all home and away football games and at a min of 2 competitions in CT.
Additional competitions are determined by placement at the local competition.
Uniform Information: Package for NEW participants - Estimated at $425 for new cheerleaders.
Returning Girls package will depend on needs.
Program Description:
The New Milford Bulls Football and Cheerleading (Bulls) program is part of American Youth Cheerleading (AYC). The New Milford Bulls have been a staple of youth sports in New Milford for 56 years. The philosophy of The New Milford Bulls organization is that youth sports and scholastic achievement go hand in hand. At every level, the Bulls strive to develop well-rounded young men and women who learn not only the fundamentals of football and cheerleading but also learn the importance of education in an atmosphere that promotes both.
The New Milford Bulls Football and Cheerleading programs1. Ensure a safe and positive playing environment for all participants.
2. Instill life-long values of teamwork, dedication, and a superior work ethic in the classroom and on the mat.
3. Teach and develop our players as they learn to cheer.
The New Milford Bulls Promote a Positive Experiences for Children by:
1. Holding no tryouts or cutting of rosters.
2. Everyone participates under mandatory rules of play dictated by AYC and YCADA .
3. Individual awards only being given out for academic excellence, not for cheer activities.
The New Milford Bulls Offer Safe Playing Environment:
1. AYC provides Coaching Clinics and Risk Management Training.
2. An enforced national rule book incorporates time-tested rules and YCADA guidelines.
3. The New Milford Board of Directors oversees all aspects of the organization, coaches and players
