The New Milford Bulls Tackle Football Program is for athletes ages 5 (as of July 31, 2025) through 13

1. Teams will be determined using AYC guidelines and prior team placement will be considered after registration closes on July 1, 2025. Team assignments are subject to change and will be based on child's age as of July 31, 2025. ALL Required documentation must be completed and uploaded to the athletes account in NSID by the first day of practice.

2. Practice will start on the last Monday in July. Practices will be determined by the Head Coach and will generally run 4 days a week prior to Labor Day and 3 days a week after Labor Day.

3. NEW Players (not returning from the 2024 season) will be required to be fitted for their personal reversable jersey and game pants. An email with fitting information will be sent.

4. If Returning players from the 2024 season need new game uniform pieces there will be an email going out with information.

For Football: Must be 5 (as of July 31, 2025) will be placed on one of the following teams
Aged Based U7
Aged Based U9 
Aged Based U11
Aged Based U13

*All registrants will receive a helmet and shoulder pads.

Program Description:
The New Milford Bulls Football and Cheerleading (Bulls) program is part of American Youth Football (AYF). The New Milford Bulls have been a staple of youth sports in New Milford for 56 years. The philosophy of The New Milford Bulls organization is that youth sports and scholastic achievement go hand in hand. At every level, the Bulls strive to develop well-rounded young men and women who learn not only the fundamentals of football and cheerleading but also learn the importance of education in an atmosphere that promotes both.

The New Milford Bulls Football and Cheerleading programs
1. Ensure a safe and positive playing environment for all participants.
2. Instill life-long values of teamwork, dedication, and a superior work ethic in the classroom and on the playing field.
3. Teach and develop  our players as they learn the game of football.

The New Milford Bulls Promote a Positive Experiences for Children by:
1. Holding no tryouts or cutting of rosters.
2. Everyone participates under mandatory rules of play dictated by AYF .
3. Allowing on-field coaching for younger age levels.
4. Individual awards only being given out for academic excellence, not for on-field activities.

The New Milford Bulls Offer Safe Playing Environment:
1. There are strict mandatory equipment requirements.
2. AYF provides Coaching Clinics and Risk Management Training.
3. An enforced national rule book incorporates time-tested rules.
4. The New Milford Board of Directors oversees all aspects of the organization, coaches and players
